House of Bah Foundation and House of Bah commitment to changing the narrative about culturally affirming cuisines is more important now than ever as Omaha is shaping its identity for the next 20 to 30 years. We offer culinary classes to immigrants/refugees and the greater African diaspora to equip them with the skills necessary for success in the workplace, which is critical to creating a healthy community. Our FREE classes are made possible thanks to long-time supporters of education and workforce development like Tyson Foods, Conagra Brands, Jacques Pépin Foundation, Tri-Faith Initiative, Hello Neighbor, @LozierFoundation, @TheSherwoodFoundation, TheWeitzFamilyFoundatio. We are thrilled to partner with Tri-Faith Initiative during their Foundations of Judaism, Christianity & Islam Course and to offer our Eat N Talk Africa series to them. We'll be offering and educating about African Cuisines during those sessions. The goal for Tri-Faith Initiative and us is to bridge the gap between all faiths and all communities. This is a great way to come together to feed your soul, feed your heart, and get to know your neighbor. Today, over 50 kids had the chance to meet the person driving the mission, delve into kitchen fundamentals, and finish off with a delightful mix of sweet and salty treats.
